Dermal filler is a hyaluronic-based gel that is injected beneath the epidermis with a fine needle to temporarily restore volume to thinning skin. This procedure softens the look of creases, smooths deep lines, and plumps hollow pockets in the face due to aging. It is most often used to enhance facial contours and augment features such as cheekbones and lips. From age lines to acne scars, dermal filler lifts indents and plumps areas to smooth out the surface for up to 12 months. A minimally invasive form of nose structure correction can likewise be accomplished with dermal filler.

Radiofrequency (RF) adds a thermal approach to microneedling that targets the skin’s rejuvenation capabilities at both the surface and cellular level. It produces controlled micro wounds that, when healed, tighten and re-texture the skin. The growth of healthy new skin, combined with the stimulation of collagen production, plumps and revitalizes the skin. This treatment can also reduce the appearance of scarring, cystic acne, hyper-pigmentation, redness, sagging, stretch marks, and uneven skin tone.

Carbon Dioxide Fractional (CO2) Laser resurfacing is the most effective one-time treatment for advanced skin damage which produces long term results. Able to correct multiple skin imperfections with one visit, patient will see a drastic reduction in facial wrinkles, fine lines, uneven coloring, scarring, dullness, and a thinned collagen layer of the face, neck and chest.

This technique directs short bursts of concentrated light beams into epidermis. The precisely controlled laser energy vaporizes a limited area of skin to a specific depth adequate to induce a controlled healing response. As the minimally damaged skin heals, collagen production is induced which aids in building a more stable structure. The newly formed skin is tighter, smoother, and more even. Improvements in appearance and tone will continue to accumulate for up to three months and the visible results will last for years. For your comfort, a topical anesthetic is applied 30 minutes before the procedure, and healing can take between 5 to 10 days.

If you have active acne or if you have very dark skin, you may not be a candidate. This technique is also not recommended for stretch marks.

The varying wavelengths of our YAG laser are capable of targeting several colors with one machine. The number of treatments required, as well as the efficacy, is dependent on multiple factors including whether or not the tattoo was done professionally, skin type, age, and location. Scarring and hypo-pigmentation are possible adverse reactions, Request a consultation with specialist before removing.

Cryolipolysis (known as coolsculpting) is a quick and non-invasive method of reducing accumulated and unwanted fatty areas on the body. Controlled temperatures are used to freeze and breakdown fat cells under the epidermis. Once the fat cells die, they do not grow back. Targeted treatment can be used from the neck down, and satisfactory results can be achieved with 1 to 3 sessions depending on the area being treated. Most treatments can be accomplished in one hour and require no down time.

Hair transplantation is a surgical technique that removes hair follicles from one part of the body, called the 'donor site', to a bald or balding part of the body known as the 'recipient site'. The technique is primarily used to treat male pattern baldness. In this minimally invasive procedure, grafts containing hair follicles that are genetically resistant to balding (like the back of the head) are transplanted to the bald scalp. Hair transplantation can also be used to restore eyelashes, eyebrows, beard hair, chest hair, pubic hair and to fill in scars caused by accidents or surgery such as face-lifts and previous hair transplants. Hair transplantation differs from skin grafting in that grafts contain almost all of the epidermis and dermis surrounding the hair follicle, and many tiny grafts are transplanted rather than a single strip of skin.

Since hair naturally grows in groupings of 1 to 4 hairs, current techniques harvest and transplant hair "follicular units" in their natural groupings. Thus modern hair transplantation can achieve a natural appearance by mimicking original hair orientation. This hair transplant procedure is called follicular unit transplantation (FUT). Our office harvests donor hair by the follicular unit extraction (FUE) method.
